Hand-painted on the Amalfi Coast
Casa Amalfi's ceramics are hand-painted by artisans of the Costiera Amalfitana — the stretch of coast running from Positano through Amalfi and Ravello, where maiolica has been painted for centuries. No two pieces are ever the same. Bold colors, living details, and gestures passed down through time: this is how the Coast finds its way into your home, with its light and its rhythm.
Small differences in line, color, and finish between one piece and the next are the mark of the hand that painted it, not a defect. It is the same principle that governs the Deruta and Vietri majolica Biordi has imported since 1946.
The patterns
Alici Rosse — Small anchovies swimming between red and orange waves, with white dots breaking like sea foam. Alici are anchovies and rosse is red. Anchovies are the everyday fish of the Campanian coast, and painting them onto tableware is an old habit there: the catch, made decorative.
Other Casa Amalfi patterns paint the coast itself — the stacked houses of Positano above the water, the lemons of Sorrento, the faraglioni rocks off Capri, the tomatoes of a Neapolitan Sunday.
The fragrances
Each Casa Amalfi collection is built around a place and a scent. Among them:
- Aperitivo in Amalfi — bitter orange, mint, and ginger over white flowers, with vanilla, musk, and sandalwood underneath. A seaside aperitivo.

The soaps are triple-milled, made with Italian olive oil and shea butter, and are vegan and cruelty-free. The scrub bars add finely ground apricot seed, which exfoliates gently as you wash.
